The 258MWp project is expected to start commercial operation in June 2019. Given the project is being set up in irregular terrain, Arctech Skyline tracking system will be deployed to this project. Skyline tracking system can handle up to 20% N-S slope with special designed torque tube and one button commissioning function. All of these technologies are optimized to work in concert, making Skyline better land adaptability, more cost-effective and quicker to install when compared with regular trackers.
Nguyen Tam Tien, CEO of Trungnam Group commented: “This landmark project marks a milestone in Vietnam’s journey to grow the clean energy industry. We were very cautious to select suppliers for those key equipment. We are very happy to work with Arctech Solar and believe this project will have higher economic returns compared with fixed mounting structure by adopting Arctech innovative Skyline tracking system.”
Guy Rong, president of Arctech Solar's international business, said: “We are excited to be a part of this landmark project. Skyline as a horizontal single-axis tracker that includes best-in-class technologies for great performance and rapid installation, is the most suitable tracker for this project and I believe it will have significant market potential in Vietnam in the future. We look forward to working closely with Trungnam and the other industry players in local market and continue our commitments in the development of renewable resources in Vietnam.”
